To improve it over the one he makes in the YouTube video, I added a powered bank meaning it is portable remote, as well as a potentiometer, that lets you control the brightness.
The hardware turned out really well especially for my first electronics project like this, but there are several issues with the software that I still need to resolve. Current issues:
The remote becomes unresponsive if you play a podcast, requiring a reset and re-authentication.
The heart indicator for liked songs isn't working. I replaced it with a circle to get it working but a heart looks better.
Song titles in English are not displayed
